Strengthening M&E Skills for Greater Community Impact

By ANPPCANSOM

From the 13th to the 17th of October 2024, the M&E team of ANPPCAN-SOM took part in a major five-day training workshop by Integrity Global at Ambassador Hotel in Hargeisa, Somaliland. This training has been a crucial milestone in our endeavor towards enhancing the monitoring and evaluation of our programs, so that the work we do will bring long-lasting and meaningful change in the communities we serve across Somalia.

Advanced TPM and research techniques were discussed and taught during this training. Equipped with this new knowledge, our team will be able to capture better data, understand project impact, and make adjustments to ensure the most effective delivery of needs to our communities.

Why This Matters

At ANPPCAN-SOM, we strive to make sure that everything we are doing actually touches and brings sustainable change in the lives of our target group. This training was not only for learning new methods but also for deepening the commitment to the people of Somalia. By enhancing monitoring programs and reporting on their outcomes, accountability to the communities we serve would be heightened, and projects actually implemented touching lives as they should.

Looking Ahead

With all these enhanced skills, ANPPCAN-SOM is now even better prepared to engage in community activities, contribute towards the resolution of some of the pertinent challenges, and initiate programs for growth and development. We would like to express immense gratitude to Integrity Global, which guided us through this training, and to our tireless M&E staff.

Alone we could do so little; together we can make a difference as we build safer, resilient communities in Somalia step by step.

Stay tuned for more updates as we journey on, hand in glove, towards a better future for all.
