ANPPCANSOMS recognizes the importance of efficient women empowerment and safeguarding women’s rights by tackling all forms of violations against women and girls; empowering women and girls to alleviate the suffering caused by GBV practices by developing policies and laws that promote gender equality; GBV prevention and survivors support services include capacity building of communities, local partners and our staff on Clinical Management of Rape (CMR), GBV and PSS.
ANPPCANSOM is focused on strengthening child protection in Somalia’s IDP settlements. We advocate for and enforce national laws against all forms of violence towards children. Our initiatives include promoting child rights through policy, education, and awareness, with special attention to marginalized groups. As a key player in the “Nairobi process,” we support the reintegration of children associated with armed groups (CAAFAG), ensuring they transition back to peaceful lives. Our comprehensive approach includes proactive outreach, family support, poverty reduction strategies, and robust data collection to safeguard every child’s future.
